Roll six dice across six rounds to earn maximum coins; spend coins on new dice in distinct colors, each with its own probability space (iron dice skew low, lava dice skew high). Trial-and-error optimization at the core.

Design Highlights

  • Multi-armed-bandit application: limited roll budget, maximize return. Learning each color's probability space costs both money and trial rolls — plus the long-term cost of carrying bad dice.
  • 2 rounds of playtesting. No in-program telemetry but final scores were logged; I manually transcribed player strategies during sessions and correlated them with outcomes for post-hoc analysis.
