Team — ~70-person team under USC professor Jim Huntley, roughly 1.5 years in development when I joined.
A mobile game where the player leads a cult, recruiting and training members to infiltrate political, military, occult, and social groups around the world in pursuit of strange, world-domination goals. Players manage cultists on a 3D isometric map.
Production Highlights
- ▸Produced a Halloween seasonal event end-to-end: time-specific building appearances, a minigame, event-only UI, easter-egg dialogue, NPC appearance swaps, and a battle-pass-style monetization plan.
- ▸Team stack: Confluence + email + 2-hour weekly in-person dev sessions + daily standups + Perforce for version control. 1-week sprint cycles.
- ▸Standups I run with three horizons — a rough 4-sprint backlog view, a detailed 2-sprint backlog view, and a micro-schedule for the next sprint.
